Stephanie Heacock-Kang, P.T., D.P.T.

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy from Franklin Pierce University.

  • Exercise Physiology from Ohio University.

  • 15 Years of Experience.

  • 13 Years at Absolute Physical Rehabilitation.

  • Numerous certifications: Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, 200-hour Yoga Certification, and CPR/BLS.

  • Areas of interest strengthened through continuing education includes solving sciatica, analyzing and improving push, pull, squat and hinge, spinal and lower extremity manipulation, pilates, treatment of the runner, the McKenzie Method, psychosocial factors impacting care, the importance of and maximizing nutrition, muscle energy techniques, athletic taping, and advanced concepts in orthobiologics. 

  • Steph enjoys the outdoors, movement, music, and spending time with family and friends.

Ewa Mazurek, P.T., D.P.T.

Ewa received her Bachelor's in Kinesiology and Movement Science from the University of Illinois in Chicago (2012) and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Sage Graduate School in Troy, New York (2016). Originally from Poland, she emigrated to the Chicago area in 2000 with her family.

Having traveled frequently throughout her life, both in Europe and across the US, she pursued travel therapy, eventually bringing her to the beautiful island of Oahu. She gained experience in a variety of therapy settings, including subacute/acute care, skilled nursing facilities, and outpatient orthopedics. Over the course of her career, she found a passion for orthopedics, pain science education, and neuromuscular re-education to promote patient healing and improve patient quality of life. 

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, hiking, traveling, snorkeling, and lounging on the beach.
